This is a shared fanfic of myself and good old Blocko and Nick.

Prologue:
After Rayman 2, Razorbeard was forced to escape after a heated battle against the famous limbless hero. He went to the planet where the pirate HQ was located. There he regathered his army. They then decided that they would try to conquer some other planet. During that time there was an ambitious young colonel named Rustblade. He was always hanging around with another young soldier called Ironfoot. Ironfoot considered Rustblade his friend. he'd do anything that Rustblade told him to do. Rustblade didn't like the leadership of Razorbeard and thought of him as a loser. Ironfoot agreed, of course. As they were traveling to this new planet, Rustblade began to "upgrade" himself. He soon became one of the strongest in the army. At this new planet the pirates attacked. But they fail miserably and they demoted Razorbeard to a soldier. The new leader was now General Rustblade. He was a great new leader. Rustblade appointed Ironfoot as his right-hand man. Rustblade had a plan. He wanted to show he can do better than any other pirate. He would rule Rayman's world which Razorbeard failed to do. Razorbeard hated being a common soldier. Under the cover of the officers recharging, Razorbeard snuck into an escape pod and decided join Rayman's side. He went to Rayman's world and told them of Rustblade's plan. The inhabitants didn't believe this, unfortunately. Then exactly three months after the fall of the Hoodlums, Rustblade and his army came to Rayman's world. Before opening attack, he realised that the Fairy Council had developped a very strong defense system since their last pirate attack. Knowing that a direct attack would be foolish, he stationed many units on different parts of the world. And in the main camp he had Ironfoot think of ideas for mega-robot creations. He ordered an invasion of the world, and when the robots would be finished, the Fairy Council would fall. Rayman then believed the story of Razorbeard and let him walk around the council freely.
Razorbeard: You know, I'd be ultimately be glad to help you against that stupid Rustblade.
Rayman: And what can you do.
Razorbeard: Well being an enemy once myself, I know much about the enemy. I can be your informations officer.
Rayman: Hmmmmm, it's a deal.
Grand Minimus: Have you seen Globox anywhere?
Rayman: Hey, it's a Grand Minimus. Well isn't it grand?
Grand Minimus: Have you seen Globox anywhere?
Rayman: The Grand Minimus asks a grand question.
Grand Minimus: Shut up. Seriously, where is Globox?
Rayman: I'm not sure.
Razorbeard: he was probably captured.
Rayman: Many of the Teensies are missing as well.
Razorbeard: They're probably in cages by now.
Rayman: Look at my surprised face.
*At the Pirate HQ*
*Ironfoot examines his many blueprints. He picks a select few*
Ironfoot: Hehehe, these are great. You won't be disappointed, Rustblade. You'll win, I'm sure of it.

NOTES:
Because it's hard to express Rayman's health with a bar in text like this, we're going to use numbers. At the start, Rayman has 100 health, but of course the maximim health can grow.
This game has Combo Mode, but we won't explain every single combo you can make. This is a fanfic, not a FAQ. Scoring will get a lot harder as the game goes on. The point counter can go as high as 999,999,999 but it will probably be impossible to reach. The counter carries over to the next level. In order to see the scores you got on each individual level, it says in a chart at the pause menu.
You can use your fist or charge them like normal. A normal fist causes 1 point of damage and a charged causes 3.
Enemies no longer have incincibility periods after you hit them. This means if you sneak up on a pirate, you can just mash him unless you're slow.
Level 1
New Pickups:
Red Lum: Basic recovery. Pick up a red lum to recover 5 units of health.
Green Lum: Walk through it and in case you get killed, you'll restart at this point. Your score will remain what it was when you touched the Green Lum.
Gold Gem: Worth 10 points.
Red Gem: Worth 30 points.
New Items:
Lum Pack: 3 red lums are inside. Use it when you want to recover 15 health.
New Enemies:
Muddibog: Attack Strength = 2, Health = 1, Armor = 0 These are underground worms that pop up and throw rocks at you. Their attack is weak and they have no defense. One punch kills them. 10 points
Spider: Attack Strength = 3, Health = 5, Armor = 0 The Spiders walk around and will swipe you if you get close. Five hits to kill. 30 points
Normal Pirate: Attack Strength = 4 (gun) 5 (hook), Health = 5, Armor = 0 These are like the old Robo-Pirates we all know from R2. They can either use a short range laser cannon or they can swipe you with a hook. Five normal fists will take them down. 50 points
New Pirate Technology:
Rapid Fire: Before you get this, you can only shoot two fists at a time like in R3. When you earn this Pirate Technology, you'll be able to fire a lot more. Each shot has a quarter of a second wait before you can fire again.
Other:
Bonusport: In each level, there is a red energy field which is hidden somewhere. When you talk through it, you'll be teleported to a bonus stage where it's possible to earn massive points. Some Bonusports have very strange pirates inside that you can fight. When you're done, exit and you'll reappear at the spot where you entered, but the Bonusport will disappear.
CUTSCENE:
*Murfy arrives*
Murfy: Rayman, we must catch Andre before he reaches the heart of the world.
*Rayman raises an eyebrow*
Murfy: Whoops, wrong script. Okay, how about this... Look out, Rayman. Andre is a black lum, and black lums are twisted.
Rayman: You�re still on the wrong script.
Murfy: Ah, screw it. How about this... Let�s follow those pirates that have Globox.
Rayman: That�s better.
Murfy: Let�s go to the woods.
Rayman: It�s the other way.
Murfy: It�s a story. You can�t tell which way I�m pointing.
Rayman: Well, let�s go.
GAME:
Murfy: Now, I must instruct you. Since my brain is so crammed I�ll use a checklist.
Rayman: Don�t worry. I�ll get everything right.
Murfy: Overconfidence. CHECK!
You start off running down a small stream. There are 3 red lums on this stream. Now you�ll be on some grass. Ahead of you are numerous spikes about.
Murfy: Time to test your jumping ability. You have to press the jump button of course. Now you need to jump over 20 spikes in 60 seconds without getting hurt.
Rayman: What happens if I don't?
Murfy: I get the cookie from your jar.
Rayman: Ugh...
*Rayman achieves his goal*
Murfy: Good job, Rayman. Where would we be without you.
Rayman: Stop that.
Keep on running. You�ll come to a gap. Jump over it. There will be at least five more after that. Then you get to a small cliff.
Murfy: Rayman, you don�t want to fall that far. Did you know you could turn your hair into a helicopter?
Rayman: Yes indeed I did.
Murfy: Well, simply press the jump button twice and hold it.
Hold your helicopter and get to the bottom. Grab the green lum nearby. There is a squab near you. Bounce on him to an alcove in the tree. You'll be able to enter the first Bonusport from here. Inside are many gold gems, 2 red gems and many red lums. This will add up to 450 points. When you're done, exit the Bonusport and jump back down. The four pirates are ahead of you carrying Globox.
Globox: I once knew a man from Nantucket.
Pirate: Pipe down.
Follow the trail of the pirates. There will be a few gaps to jump over.
Murfy: Rayman, we must teach you to shoot.
Rayman: Let me guess.
Murfy: Heck no. You have to press the shoot button try it.
5 Muddibogs will pop out near a puddle. Shoot them all.
Murfy: Rayman, you truly are��
Rayman: Don�t even finish.
Murfy: Okay. By the way. When you jump towards something you can hang onto it.
Go to the nearby tree and grab a branch. Get on it. Climb up the following branches. You�ll eventually get to a large branch. A spider will pop out. Kill it. Then helicopter off the branch and into a hole in another tree. Here you will find a Lum Pack. Drop down and go down a small stream. You�ll catch up to the pirates. Fortunately, they haven�t noticed you yet. Keep running. Eventually they�ll hear you, turn around and drop Globox. Fight them, taking care to avoid their hooks and guns. After the fight, there are a few red Lums near Globox. Pick them up if you got hurt.
Globox: Rayman, it�s been so long.
Rayman: No, it hasn�t.
Murfy: Look, it�s a Pirate Technology.
Rayman: Hey, I wonder what it does.
*Rayman picks up the Pirate Technology. Almost instantly, his fists begin to glow, then settle again*
Murfy: That looked like a Rapid Fire. Now you can fire as much as you like.
Rayman: Let�s try it out on those two spiders.
2 spiders pop out. Defeat them. Get on another short stream and at the end jump over the spike and you're done.

I think this is a great story, too! It looks like there's lots of funny dialogues in it, just like in Rayman 3! And I think the name Rustblade is a great name for a Robo-Pirate!

Level 2:
New Pickups:
Blue Gem: A gem colored blue that is slightly larger than a red gem. Worth 100 points.
Ray Gun: Modifies your fist for the level. This allows your firing range to increase, and you can now look and fire in first person view.
Cage: For every cage you break, you'll get 500 points and any bonus points, items or Pirate Technologies the Teensie inside could give you. Every 10 cages you break, your maximum health will increase by 25!
New Items:
None
New Enemies:
Flamefly: Attack = 7, Health = 3 (only vulnerable from the back), Armor = 0 The Flamefly looks like a giant robotic firefly. It will attack by turning around and attempting to burn you with its glowing red abdomen. This is also its only weak point. Three hits to its abdomen will cause it to short circuit and explode. 50 points
Shrapnel Pirate: Attack = 0, Health = 7, Armor = 0 This enemy is a pain. He won't attack, but instead he'll go to a group of red lums and suck them into his enormous chest. After that, he'll try and make a getaway. He's pretty fast, so if you don't beat him quickly, he'll run off with your lums. However, if you can send a fist into his enormous chest cavity when he's sucking in lums, he'll explode and you'll get double the points! 100/200 points
New Pirate Technology:
None
Bonusport:
Another basic bonus area. Climb vines and helicopter to holes in some trees to reach some gold and red gems. There are three blue gems at the top of the vines as well. 1040 points can be found
Cutscene:
Murfy: Rayman, remember that Lum Pack you got back there?
Rayman: I think I do.
Murfy: Ah, it doesn�t matter
Rayman: Yeah, I guess it doesn�t
Murfy: OK. Let�s start over. Remember how you got that Lum Pack back there? Well, one regular Lum Pack can recover 15 units of health when you need it. Items will be put into 1 of 8 slots. To use them use the F1-F8 buttons accordingly. Is that understood?
Globox: Look over there!
Rayman: Don�t worry I�ll handle this. Just let me pull up my sleeves.
Globox: Forget that. It�s a keg of plum juice.
Rayman: Did you say plum juice?
*Globox hugs the keg*
Globox: Oh, I�ve missed you so much.
Rayman: But that does weird stuff to you.
Globox: Who cares?
*Globox chugs down the keg and floats away*
GAMEPLAY
You start out on yet another stream. At the end of this stream you meat a Muddibog that you�ll need to defeat. Jump onto a mushroom after that. This is a bouncy mushroom that will send you to the branch of a tree. There is a tree ahead of you that has a mushroom stuck to it. Helicopter down there and bounce on that one. You�ll have to bounce up two more mushrooms after that. You�ll be on a large branch with a Spider on it. You have to defeat this guy as well. Helicopter off this branch and turn around. There are vines under the branch. Climb across these to a hole in the tree. Inside of here is a lone mushroom. Bounce on it and grab the higher hole in the tree. Climb out onto the branch and defeat another Spider. Turn around and grab onto the vines above the hole. Jump up at the top and grab a branch. Walk across it and helicopter over to the tree at the other side of the gap. Follow the mushrooms down to the correct place you need to be on the ground. Here is another short stream that you need to ride. You�ll come to a ledge. Down below are many thorns that will hurt you obviously. So just simply hop across the regular mushrooms and cross the bridge. You�ll notice a stray gem in the distance. Go there and you�ll see a log. Climb between the two walls to get to a Bonusport. After you�re done with that, walk to the green lum. After you get that a few robotic fireflies come at you. When they�re facing away from you, hit them in the abdomen. 3 hits will defeat them. Some red lums will be left behind and you�ll meet a new enemy. This is a Shrapnel Pirate that will try to steal your lums and run off. Too bad you were too slow this time. Now cross another bridge and at the end is a thorn. Simply jump over it and you�ll find 3 Muddibogs waiting for you. Defeat them like always. Then jump across a few more mushrooms. You�ll come to a tree and a Spider drops down onto you. Defeat him. Grab a branch and helicopter over the gap. Here you�ll meet up with 5 pirates that have slightly better skills than the previous ones. At some distance away is a teensie cage in a force field behind a gap.. Defeat the pirates and you�ll receive a ray gun for your troubles.
Murfy: Rayman, this is a ray gun. It has more distance than a regular fist. You can launch it in first-person view.
Rayman: Thanks for the tip. I�ll try it out.
Launch your fist through the gun at a control panel near the Teensie cage and the force field will deactivate. Jump over the gap, break your first cage and meet up with the Teensie.
Teensie: Rayman, lots of the teensies have been captured after trying to stop the pirates. There's 120 cages spreaded throughout the world.
Murfy: Sheesh... 120...
Rayman: Well, that�s not a surprise.
Teensie: Shut up.
Rayman: So do you have anything else to say?
Teensie: I�m going to make a warp and send you to the edge of the woods.
Rayman: I�ve got no problem with that.
Run through the warp and you�re done.

So, it looks like all the levels are forest-type levels so far? Are there going to be any other types of environments along the way, like deserts or jungles or lava fortresses? (PS: This story is still pretty interesting! The description sounds like it might get a bit repetitive, but it's still very interesting! Antidisestablishmentarianally interesting!)

Don't worry. Levels 1-3 are forest, but the scenes will change after that. New types of Robo-Pirates and cutscenes featruring Rustblade and Ironfoot will also come soon!

This Fanfic is the bomb this just might be an idea for the next Rayman
