That's a rayman1 code, mate. And it doesn't work even on rayman1!
Okay Ive got some bad news for you: There are no cheats for Rayman 3. Here's why:
1. Cheats are made by the designers so the game testers can go through each level being invincible and whatnot, and test the game without some artificial intelligence getting in the way. These codes aren't usually taken out, so the game meets the deadline. However they were in Rayman 3's case.
2. The Hall of Fame idea was well known by Ubi Soft when they made Rayman3, so to stop people cheating and winning extra points, they just removed the cheats.
Hope this helps _________________

marsup has a point. If there are no cheats, then how can someone cheat in the Hall of Fame? _________________

maybe they have the original r3 sourcecode, and they're edited it a little... well, i don't think so. maybe there IS a trainer or something that will make the combo mode not to stop or something... |

if the cheats are supposed to make a game funnier, for instance, they will be said in the game when player has achived the end of the game or something else that could possibly make the game boring.
cheats are made to help and to make the games funnier, but if there's a hall of fame -thing, i don't believe there are any cheats.
it is possible to edit the scores that are in savegamefiles, but how, i don't know. also, it is possible to invent a code that, for surprise, takes you to extremely high ranks in the hall of fame (one needs to have more than very, very, very good luck!).
this is what i know at this point, maybe i'll be wiser in the future. there are no cheats for rayman 3.
those high scores are very annoying, but we can't do anything to them, and we can't get ourselves a better rank by cheating, if we don't know how to cheat. invent a good way to cheat and you'll be popular among many of the raymanzone.com's users. (invent a bad way to cheat and you'll be hated.) *doesn't exactly know what he's talking about* |

o8feh code works! After you type in the code, Rayman does this funky dance step, and then you move onto the next level! You don't even have to use the exit sign! _________________

Still, the point about the hall of fame is an interesting one. They probably beat the game and then using the same amount of letters and numbers, typed in a new code to get a higher ranking. _________________ Lord of the Rings movies stink! Read the books people! |

there is at least someone who knows how the hof codes are generated. still, (s)he wouldn't tell us this secret, because (s)he works at ubi soft.
btw, here's some mathematics:
if the overall score can be 0-999999 and the number of cages can be 0-60, there are 1.000.000 * 61 = 61.000.000 different combinations. there are 39 different letters used in the key codes (a-z, 0-9, +, -, =), and every key code has 12 letters, so there are 39^12 = 12.381.557.655.576.425.121 different key codes. this means that the propability that you guess a working key code by one try is approximately 61.000.000 / 39^12 = 0,00000000049 %. because (1 - 61.000.000 / 39^12)^n = 0,5 => n = 140.692.488.195, it means that you will have to try 140.692.488.195 times in order to find at least one working key code at the probability of 50 %. and the possibility that the one code you've found has a score of over 800000 is 20 %. just think about the possibilities... (if you didn't understand, don't worry, i'm studying mathematics in university...) _________________
