how to create a phpBB forums:
1.go to www.tripod.lycos.co.uk
2.make a new account(write a real email!!!)
3.REMEMBER your username and password.
4.go to your email
5.you'll see an email from lycos with a link to make your FTP password,copy the link paste it in the browser and click enter
6.make your FTP password,YOU MOST REMEMBER IT!!!!
7.go to www.phpbb.com
8.go to downloads,and download the newset version(for now it's 2.0.6)
9.extract the rar,change the folder name to: forums
10.go back to www.tripod.lycos.co.uk , login, go to your account look down there's a *Your Tripod configuration* click there and you'll see:
activate the php and the mysql after you done you'll see:
11.now go to the FTP of lycos tripod: ftp:/ftp.members.lycos.co.uk
12.login with your ftp username and your ftp password
13.now upload the forums folder(see action nu.9) yyou just need to grab the folder to the ftp window
14.go to: www.members.lycos.co.uk/your lycos username
15.you'll see the installation of the forums,follow that:
A.forum deaflut language-choose your language
B.don't tuch!
C.don't tuch!
D.server database name/DSN:- localhost
E.datdbase name- your lycos name_uk_db
F.database username: your lycos username
G:admin's Email-your email
H.don't tuch!
I.don't tuch!
J.don't tuch!
K.admin username-your forums username
L.admin password-your forums password
M.admin password(type agian)-type your password agian.
click install,and you have a new phpbb fourms! 
how to install a logo?
*make a logo,and change it's name to: logo-phpbbSilver.JPG and change the files in the FTP

Why I can't upload the forums?
*if your comouter not uploading to the FTP or it don't comecting,download the free FlashFXP program from HERE

Unfortunatly, Tripod won't let me have a username. It's either been taken, or it says "Please Choose another Username", and it won't tell me why. What kind of name do you suggest? I wantit Rayman-related.

the username isn't inmortant you can choose rayman123456 and then make a free domain is cjb.net!
P.S: please someone stick it!!!

If you mask the page, some browsers have a sign-in, sign-out and Register problem. You better not mask it.

lol, jonatan, I know that you can make boards, but you can´t add mods, or do you know how to add a mod (Function)?
